I went every day from 1988 to 2002ish. Back when it was three days of sporting perfection attended only by people who had lived the whole winter with ante post vouchers to keep them warm. It's now a diluted, bloated corporate spectacle, and somehow still manages to be the best sporting event in the world.
I stopped going when the gambling became serious, and access to the internet was all important. It will be nice to go back and just enjoy a day's racing. And that's what this part of this site is about really - getting back to the love of betting and racing, the thrill of being alive, with profit a bonus. As opposed to the grind of daily profit.
Twice I've won over 20k on Thursday. Both times by doubling up the winners of the Ryanair and the World Hurdle, and adding trebles with every other horse I back that day. I don't know what the "other" horses are yet, but my key horses are First Lieutenant and Peddlers Cross.
Ruby has some nice priced rises as well. And also like Kapga De Cerisy and Sunny Legend, though betfair doesn't.
