For once I'm calm and sanguine. When this whole thing kicked off I was expecting a Tory majority of about 200 and Labour in oblivion. So, anything better than that is something. Plus, at least we all know what a cold, malfunctioning robot Theresa May is now.
As for betting, I've initially gone for a Tory majority of between 1 and 50. This relies on Labour holding some of their strongholds. I'm more confident of Wales holding than I was, but I did read a Labour insider saying they were expecting "nuclear winter" in the traditional north-east and north-west heartlands. We'll see. It's all a but of a distraction anyway. Brexit is still sat there slavering...
